Buzz has it that Kangana Ranaut’s next film after Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi will be helmed by a South filmmaker. Some media outlets report that the Queen actress is in talks with writer-director Prakash Rao Kovelamudi. For the uninitiated, Prakash Rao Kovelamudi is the son of the legendary Telugu filmmaker, K Raghavendra Rao and has directed films like Bommalata (2004), Anaganaga O Dheerudu (2011) and Size Zero (2015) in the past. Now, Kangana is keen to rope in the director for a film.

The actress will start work on the same once she wraps up her historical drama Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi. The team of the period film is expected to head to Rajasthan to film the next schedule of the much-awaited movie. Directed by Krish, Manikarnika - The Queen Of Jhansi also stars Jisshu, Atul Kulkarni, Sonu Sood and Ankita Lokhande. It is scheduled to release on April 27.
