The shooting of Kangana Ranaut’s first epic period drama, Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, has finally come to an end. The film went on floors months ago, and today, the team has wrapped up the lavish project. The film will be a biopic cum tribute to India’s female freedom fighter, Rani Laxmibai. And on the last day, Kangana strike a pose with the entire crew of the film.
Kangana, who feels honoured to be chosen as the lead, says, "I look forward to promoting #Manikarnika. It is the highest-budget female-centric film in India. They are planning a massive campaign to promote the movie, which releases in August. Rani Laxmibai deserves it. It is her legacy and we are just a medium to present it."

Manikarnika was initially slated to release on 27th April, but due to pending vfx work, the movie pushed to August.
