    Kahaani to be Remade in Tamil and Telugu –Anushka Shetty as Vidya Bagchi

    Kahaani, a female oriented film, which has proved to be a blockbuster (starring Vidya Balan) will be remade in Tamil and Telugu.

    Kahaani , a female oriented film, which has proved to be a blockbuster (starring Vidya Balan ) will be remade in Tamil and Telugu.

    The production company Endemol, which has produced many popular reality shows such as Bigg Boss, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi etc. is now set to foray into film business.

    Plans are being made on the remake of Kahaani and it is expected that these films will be ready for release in January 2013. Talks with South Indian actors to act in this film are in progress.

    However, Arundhati fame Anushka Shetty has accepted the offer to do the lead role of Kahaani without having any second thoughts.

    Sujoy Ghosh , the co-producer of original Kahaani would also be the co-producer for its Tamil and Telugu version.

    In a statement Sujoy Ghosh said "I'm delighted to know that the film and the ' Kahaani ' franchise are being handled by a reputed name in the entertainment industry like Endemol India,"
