It is a well known fact that Juhi Chawla and Madhuri Dixit Nene were each others rivals in the 80s and the 90s and never acted together in one film. However, they are now set to break this rule by acting together in the upcoming Anubhav Sinha film ' Gulaab Gang '. Anubhav says, " Gulaab Gang is about two iconic female characters. I couldn't have pulled off a better cast than the two most iconic female stars, Madhuri and Juhi, together for the first time on Indian screen. My film is an action and drama piece with two women at loggerheads. I needed actors who would justifiably match up to each other, both in terms of their performance and stature. I think, this is the best the film could get, because the subject material is so strong."

The movie required two strong and experienced actresses. Madhuri was already finalized by Anubhav, then a few days back Juhi Chawla expressed her ewadiness to work in the film.

exceptional performance in ' Son Of Sardaar ' has won her many compliments and hence this has motivated her to enter in a new film with Madhuri.
