Producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar has parted their ways now. So the third installment of comedy classic 'Hera Pheri' is now cancelled. Now the reports are that Akshay is not working for Firoz's 'Welcome 2' either. Instead of Akshay, John's name has been finalized for the second installment of Firoz Nadiadwala's another cult classic 'Welcome 2'. John Abraham and Akshay had previously worked together in 'Desi Boyz'.

Nadiadwala has said that he has been speaking to Akshay about the third installment of Hera Pheri since 2006. He did not want to make the film without Akshay. But eventually the plan didn't work out. Firoz said that he doesn't have any grudges for Akshay. Akshay is like a brother to him but he cannot afford Akshay. He hopes that both will work together soon. But at this moment, the third installment of ' Hera Pheri ' is postponed.

Firoz now will be making 'Welcome 2' and John has given a nod for the main lead. Anees Bazmee has previously directed the prequel ' Welcome ' in 2007 which was a blockbuster hit. The shooting for the film is likely to commence at the end of this year, the source said. John has confirmed the news that he will be playing the lead role in 'Welcome 2'.
