John Abraham\'s decision of venturing into film productions has earned him profits so far, by bringing up the mass-entertaining, \'Vicky Donor\' and recent triumph political-thriller, \'Madras Cafe\'. The actor has been esteemed by the Pride Of Nation Award by Anti Terrorist Front chairman, M S Bitta for portraying the story behind the assassination of India\'s former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi.
John and his team\'s contribution resulted in molding of such an exceptional cinema, that featured India and Sri Lanka\'s unbeatable wounds. It revolves around the sensitive issue of Sri Lankan civil war, wherein, John plays the role of a RAW agent. Though, Shoojit Sircar directorial \'Madras Cafe\' faced lot of hurdles during its release, still it came out to be victorious, gaining both critical as well as commercial success.
Being inspired by the real life nationalistic stories, John also envisions of picturing the movie based on Abdul Hamid, who was awarded with Param Vir Chakra for his outrageous courage in 1965\'s Kargil war.
