After wrapping up the shoot of Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran , which is based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by India at the Indian Army's Pokhran Test Range in 1998, actor-turned-producer John Abraham has reportedly decided to produce a remake of a French thriller called The Invisible Guest. According to reports, the actor watched the French film recently and fell in love with the movie. Without wasting any time, he decided to remake the film for the Hindi audience.

Reportedly, the film, which has yet not been titled, will feature Taapsee Pannu as the female lead while John will play the male lead himself. If all goes well, the shooting of the film may start by the end of the year. According to the actor, Bollywood does not make good suspense thrillers but he believes this will be a good story to break the mould.
