Jia Aur Jia Trailer: Celebrate love, friendship & womanhood!

Why do we always glorify Jai-Veeru, Ram-Lakhan, Karan-Arjun and so on, let's come together and join in the journey of two women on a journey of friendship, disagreements, laughter and a road trip with Jia Aur Jia. While it is an absolute fun film written in the commercial mold, Jia Aur Jia is a film that asks pertinent questions, while fighting the high stakes of a magical journey called life.

The trailer promises one of a kind female bonding and glorifying how two females with different mindsets can also get along and have a gala time. A story about two starkly different women played by Richa Chadha and Kalki Koechlin that share the same name. Together, they embark on a life-changing journey heading towards the same fate. The film is shot in Sweden.

Talking about the film, Richa Chadda said in a media statement, “Kalki and I really enjoyed filming this in the picturesque locales of Sweden. It’s a slice-of-life film about two girls on a road trip. They meet a guy in Sweden and the story takes an unexpected turn. It’s massive fun.”

Directed by Howard Rosemeyer, the lead star cast includes Richa Chadha, Kalki Koechlin, and Arslan Gori. Jia Aur Jia is penned by Mudassar Aziz and it is produced by Mirza Askari. The film has been scheduled to release on October 27, 2017.
