Jhanvi Kapoor & Ishaan Khatter to pair up for the remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’?

Previously, it was widely speculated that veteran actor Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor would romance Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter in the Hindi remake of the Marathi blockbuster film Sairat. But if latest reports are to be believed, the two might appear on the screen in the Hindi remake of Josh Boone's Hollywood teen romantic-drama The Fault in our Stars.

Reportedly, the look test for the remake was held on 24 and 25 June, and if things fall into place, Jhanvi and Ishaan will sign the project on the dotted line and play the characters of Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus "Gus" Waters respectively. Earlier, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan was supposed to make her debut with the film but she walked out of the projects due to reasons not known. Though all details regarding the project are under wrap, the film will be apparently produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. Badrinath Ki Dulhania helmer Shanshank Khaitan will directed the yet to be titled flick.
