    Jeetendra to be honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award

    The veteran actor Jeetendra will be honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award.

    The veteran actor Jeetendra will be celebrating his birthday on April 7 and the actor will turn 72. Apart from birthday celebrations, one more great news is in the wing for the yesteryear superstar.

    Reportedly, Jeetendra will be honoured with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. This award is given by Government and is considered as India's greatest award in cinema. The star's wife Shobha Kapoor is expected to accompany him while receiving the award, as per the reports.

    The legendary personas, who were conferred with Dadasaheb Phalke Award till now, include Lata Mangeshkar , Raj Kapoor , Dev Anand , Dilip Kumar , Pran , Asha Bhosle , Satyajit Ray , Sivaji Ganesan.
