    Veteran star Jaya Bachchan recommended Aditi Rao Hydari for the role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.

    Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s upcoming film Padmavati recently went on floors in Mumbai. The film stars actors Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The latest to join the star cast was the beautiful actress Aditi Rao Hydari . The newest update claims that it is on veteran star Jaya Bachchan ’s recommendation that the talented actress bagged the role.

    A source revealed that, “For a very long time, Jayaji felt Aditi had a huge potential. Her eyes are very deep sad and expressive. Usske chehre pe ek noor hai (there’s a sparkle in her face),’ she told a friend. She went further and recommended him to Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Padmavati.”

    Aditi will essay the role of Khilji's favourite wife, the character played by Ranveer. Padmavati is indeed a magnum opus which is eagerly awaited amongst the fans. The movie has been scheduled to release on 17 November, 2017.
