These days Jacqueline Fernandez is in news for signing one film after the other and again she is here to make a headline grabbing a thriller role in Sujoy Ghosh 's next, starring opposite Saif Ali Khan .

Earlier, the news of Deepika Padukone being offered with this thriller role was fuming in the air. However, Sujoy dismissed it saying that he never considered her for this role and that news was a mere rumour. His original choice is Jacqueline whom he has even read out the script.

While, Jacqueline also confirmed the news without divulging much about the venture as she is yet to sign the film but has agreed to do it on the verbal terms.

Based on the Japanese novel 'The Devotion Suspect X', Sujoy's Hindi adaptation will star Jacqueline in a mother's role, who kills her ex-husband to seek peace. Her neighbor played by Saif helps her out to cover-up the crime.
