Subhash Kapoor ’s ‘Jolly LLB’ franchise seems like growing. The courtroom drama with dark humour has been received well by the masses both times. The first installment had annoying Arshad as Jolly and Boman Irani as the prominent lawyer. Made on a small budget, the film became a sleeper hit. Following the success of ‘ Jolly LLB ’, Subhash made ‘ Jolly LLB 2 ’ where Akshay and Annu Kapoor locked the horns. The common factor between the movies was actor Saurabh Shukla , who played the role of Justice Sunderlal Tripathi in both the film. ‘ Jolly LLB 2 ’ became a major success and now the makers are coming up with its third installment. The most interesting part about ‘Jolly LLB 3’ is, this time it will be Akshay v/s Arshad who will be shown pitted against each other in the film.

Both the films were set in different towns with different storylines. What better the director could have done instead of casting Akshay opposite Arshad in the third installment, where both the actors are familiar and have portrayed the same role with utmost justice. It will be interesting to see who plays who, who will be the leading ladies and whether the most loveable character of Justice Sunderlal Tripathi will be played by Saurabh Shukla again or not.
