    It’s confirmed! Deepika Padukone to play mafia queen Sapna Didi

    Deepika Padukone bags a real-life gangster role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film.

    After playing the beautiful warrior princess, Deepika Padukone is all set to be a mafia queen Sapna Didi in Vishal Bhardwaj ’s next film.

    It’s confirmed! Deepika Padukone to play mafia queen Sapna Didi

    Deepika has bagged the role of most feared don Sapna Didi aka Rahima Khan. This female don had executed the plan of killing Dawood Ibrahim to seek revenge of her husband’s death. Vishal has penned the script of this film, taking an inspiration from Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai.

    Vishal’s gangster film will also star Irrfan Khan in the role of a local gangster. The project is currently under the pre-production process and will be directed by Honey Trehan.
