There were several speculations and rumours regarding the lead star cast of the film. The latest news claims that, the movie will feature Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor in the lead.
Padmavati is all set to go on the floors soon. As per the sources, Ranveer will essay the character of Alauddin Khilji, while Shahid will play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar and Deepika will perform the role of and Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh in this historical drama. SLB’s film has been scheduled to release later next year.
