It's a school calling for Deepika Padukone

"In the times of stardom, don't forget them who were by your side, when you were nothing." Going by these lines, Deepika Padukone has soft corner for her folks in Bangalore. Be it attending a childhood friend's wedding or celebrating her parents' anniversary, she is always there for her loved ones. Recently, when she got a call from her school, she reshuffled her entire shooting schedule to attend their fund-raising event.

Being an alumna of Sophia High School, Deepika has been invited for a charity event organized by them. The fund accumulated from this big scale event will used to build a new wing in the school. As the faculty aims in expanding and providing better facilities and amenities to the student, so the raised-fund will make a lot of difference.

On hearing about the cause, Deepika got readily agreed and requested her managing team to work on her dates as per the event. At present, she is simultaneously working on 'Piku' and 'Bajirao Mastani'.
