    Is Shruti Haasan signed opposite Vidyut Jammwal in Mahesh Manjrekar’s next?

    The movie will be on the lines of Manjrekar’s super-hit movie, Vaastav, and it will be bankrolled by Vijay Galani.

    Two days back, BollywoodMDB informed our readers that Mahesh Manjrekar is all set to make a crime drama film for which he has roped in Vidyut Jammwal . Now, news has it that the filmmaker has signed in actress Shruti Haasan opposite Vidyut. The movie will be on the lines of Manjrekar’s super-hit movie, Vaastav , and Shruti will be seen playing a small town girl. The yet-untitled film will be bankrolled by Vijay Galani , who has previously backed Salman Khan starrer Veer .

    Earlier, talking about Manjrekar’s film, Galani has said in a statement, "I'm very happy to team up with national award-winning director Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is full on action which is Mahesh's forte. It is on the lines of 'Vaastav' and Vidyut who is known for his action is now the lead of our film."

    Shruti was last seen in 2017’s film, Behen Hogi Teri and will be next seen in Sabaash Naidu, a trilingual film, which will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi and will be helmed by her father, Kamal Haasan .
