Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Gustakhiyan has been making news since it was out that actors Abhishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra will team up for the project. The film is based on poet Sahir Ludhianvi's life which is helmed by none other than ace director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali . The filmmaker and Priyanka were in talks regarding the project but it could not move forward. Now, Priyanka has dropped the project completely and is busy with her Hollywood projects.

Now, since Abhishek is already on board, the hunt for the leading lady is on. Reports claimed that Parineeti Chopra has been approached for the lucrative project by the makers. If everything goes well then Abhishek Bachchan and Parineeti Chopra will come together for a film for the first time. Parineeti is approached to play the character of Amrita Pritam who happens to be Ludhianvi's love interest. It will be interesting to see if the actress gives a nod to this project.

Currently, Parineeti is busy promoting her upcoming film Golmaal Again which is a Rohit Shetty film. The hit franchise also stars Ajay Devgn, Parineeti Chopra , Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu, Tabu among others.
