Last seen in the successful film Bareilly Ki Barfi , Kriti Sanon is all set to join hands with Phillauri fame Diljit Dosanjh for an upcoming film titled Arjun Patiala . It will be the first time when she works with the popular Punjabi singer-actor. The latest we hear that Sanon will play the role of a crime journalist in the movie. A source close to the actress revealed, “Kriti will be meeting some crime reporters to get into the skin of the character.”

While the preparations for the movie are going on in full swings, the name of the director is yet to be announced. We hope we soon get to know the name of the man who will call the shots for the movie. Arjun Patiala is being bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan , who made his directorial debut with the Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta .

Talking about the project, Dinesh has said, “The Hindi film audience has already experienced Diljit’s intensity, now it’s time to laugh with him. Kriti is moving from Bareilly to Patiala to deliver another small town surprise and this time she is holding a pen.”
