Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan , who is one of the Indian celebrities with the highest number of followers on Twitter, has threatened to quit the micro-blogging site. The actor shared a cryptic tweet on his handle which showed a picture from his popular film Hum , in which he is seen strangulating a villain. Many people think that the image refers to his relationship with Twitter. Apparently, the social network has reduced his number of followers, which has annoyed the thespian.

The megastar wrote on his Twitter handle, “T 2599 – TWITTER ..!!!?? you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! thats a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. there are many ‘other’ fish in the sea – and a lot more exciting !!”

On the work front, Senior Bachchan is currently shooting for Yash Raj Films Thugs Of Hindostan , which also stars Amitabh Bachchan , Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh . He will also be seen in Umesh Shukla 's 102 Not Out .
