Abhishek Bachchan , who was last seen in the Sajid Nadiadwala production, Housefull 3 , is currently busy with many of his upcoming projects, including a romcom, Manmarziyan , which is being helmed by Anurag Kashyap . As we remember that a couple of months ago, the makers of the successful film franchise, Housefull, had announced the fourth instalment of the series. While no actor found its name in the star cast at the time of the announcement, it was being reported that Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh will reprise their roles in Housefull 4 . This, reportedly, left the Junior Bachchan extremely unhappy because after delivering an applause-worthy performance in Housefull 3 , he was hoping to find a place in the next instalment as well.

While no actor's name has been officially announced as yet, reports are doing the rounds that the makers of the series are now making some modifications in the script so that Abhishek could also be part of the next instalment. The actor is yet to sign the project on the dotted lines.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala , Housefull 4 is being directed by Sajid Khan who helmed Housefull and Housefull 3 . The film is set for a Diwali 2019 release.
