Irrfan Khan will premiere his upcoming International Film Doob at 20th Shanghai International Film Festival!

One of the greatest things about Irrfan Khan is his credibility as the actor knows no boundary. He is known more for international ventures, he is being part of it, and we are not only talking about big budget Hollywood films. Putting his first step in international film production too, Irrfan would be presenting his co-produced film with Abdul Aziz, Doob - No Bed Of Roses, directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, in 20th Shanghai International Film Festival on 25th June. Though the film would be a bilingual, it would also be in English as the second language.

Doob - No Bed Of Roses, being from a drama genre, seen its share of controversy in Bangladesh as it is said to be loosely based on a writer’s controversial life, which was later clarified by direction and team. And as for the brief synopsis of the story, it is a tale of members of two families who realize feelings for each other when the head of a family dies and how the story unraveles. Although there are no dates on its Indian release, sure it will be disclosed.

Irrfan Khan is a high riding star now, as his latest Bollywood film Hindi Medium is a hit and he is currently in the shooting schedule busy with his Hollywood movie Puzzle with Kelly Macdonald among others.
