Irrfan Khan to feature in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Hyder'

The ace director Vishal Bhardwaj likes to offer something unique to the viewers every time and now he is all set to come up with the desi adaptation of William Shakespeare\'s \'Hamlet\', a dark revenge tragedy. This play of Shakespeare is still adored by the masses even after almost 400 years.

Reportedly, \'The Lunchbox\' actor Irrfan Khan will feature in Indian adaptation of this play by Vishal Bhardwaj, titled \'Hyder\'. Irrfan will be appearing in a cameo role in this flick, in which he will be seen as the ghost of dead king Hamlet. This ghost tortures the young Hamlet to take the revenge of his murder and the family as well as the state get destroyed in the middle of all this. Vishal was thinking of casting Irrfan as the protagonist, however the things couldn\'t work out, as the project got delayed. Apart from Irrfan, the movie features Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Tabu. Prior to this, Irrfan Khan, Tabu and Vishal Bhardwaj worked together in the critically acclaimed flick \'Maqbool\'.
