After undergoing a lot of censor trouble, Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture Udta Punjab has finally been passed under the A category with only one cut. The film will now hit the silver screens on its original release date i.e. on June 17, 2016. Co-producer said at the press conference: "The verdict has been fantastic for us, for the country and for Udta Punjab. Thanks to the High Court." The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, it revolves around the drug scenario in the state of Punjab.
