At the press meet when megastar Rajinikanth was asked about his humbleness and simplicity despite his grand films, he said, “Nobody pays me to act in my real life. So, I am simple.” Akshay Kumar was asked about his experience working with Rajinikanth and he said, “I have to do five more films with Rajinikanth to learn a lot more from him.”

Regarding the sequel question, Director Shankar said, “We haven’t made 2.0 for the sake of sequel, our film will encourage 3D films in India.”

2.0 is a huge film that will be released in 15 global languages. 27th Oct is the music launch, after which the makers will launch its teaser in Hyderabad in the month of November. The official trailer launch is scheduled in Chennai in the month of December. The film releases on 25 January 2018.
