    Initially Imran Khan Was Offered the Lead in 'Cocktail', Says Director Homi Adajania

    ‘Cocktail’ stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in the central characters. Although Saif Ali has been cast opposite Deepika, he was not the first choice of the director for this particular role.

    ' Cocktail ' stars Saif Ali Khan , Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty in the central characters. Although Saif Ali has been cast opposite Deepika, he was not the first choice of the director for this particular role. Homi Adajania , the director of ' Cocktail ' has himself made this revelation.

    Homi Adajania revealed that Imran Khan was the first choice for the above mentioned movie. But since Imran wasn't confident whether he would be able to do justice with the role, he turned down the offer.

    After getting Imran Khan 's disapproval, Homi Adajania thought of casting Saif for the role. And when he narrated the script to the actor, he loved the script and was signed in. Saif not only played the lead but also became the producer of ' Cocktail '.

    ' Cocktail ' is all set to hit the theatres on July 13, 2012.
