    Indian Idol Junior contestant Nahid to croon for Sonakshi Sinha's 'Akira'

    Sonakshi Sinha gave a chance to Indian Idol Junior Nahid Afrin to sing a track in her upcoming film 'Akira'.

    The shotgun junior Sonakshi Sinha has ventured into a different arena by becoming the judge of television reality show Indian Idol Junior. The actress is impressed by the singing talent of all kids in the competition. Reportedly, Sonakshi Sinha gave a chance to 13-year old Nahid Afrin to do playback singing for her forthcoming flick ' Akira '. The kid stunned her with an outstanding performance in the show.

    Nahid performed on the track 'Zara Si Dil Mein' from movie ' Jannat ' and all judges gave thumbs up to the kid. After getting a chance to sing in ' Akira ', Nahid was much happy about this chance. The famous music composer duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani are also the judges of the same competition.

    ' Akira ' also features Amit Sadh and Shatrughan Sinha in the crucial roles.
