The director-actor duo, Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor are likely to work together once again in a film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala . The film is expected to go on floors in the later part of the year 2013.

Though Imtiaz Ali 's directorial debut ' Socha Na Tha ' starring Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia was not successful at the box office, his next film ' Jab We Met ' starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor brought success as well as fame.

' Love Aaj Kal ' was declared super hit at the box office and at the same time garnered him much critical success. His previous movie ' Rockstar ' that starred Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri and released in 2011 was also a commercial success. And actor Ranbir Kapoor has also proved his mettle in his films.

Recently, the director was quoted saying in an interview that he has been very fortunate that the actors he had selected for all his films have suited the roles and the same implies to Ranbir Kapoor as well.
