'If not an actor, I would have been a taxi driver'-Says Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan, the star of the millennium, who is always known for his modesty, recently said, \"After I failed in the FTII preliminary exam, it strengthened my resolve to join the film industry and I quit my job to come here to Mumbai to try my luck. At the time, I had just carried my driving license around with me, because I felt that if I cannot make it as an actor, I would be a taxi driver.\"

Yesterday he was seen performing Ganpati aarti at Lal Bag Cha Raja and very soon he will be seen in the film \'English Vinglish\'. Though his role is very short in this film, he says that this film has touched him to great extent.

This film has been directed by Gauri Shinde and stars Sridevi.
