Tinsel town beauty and now accredited as 'beautiful Daayan' from ' Ek Thi Daayan ' , Huma Qureshi humbly dedicates all her success to her friend, mentor and guide veteran director Anurag Kashyap . Anurag Kashyap launched her for the first time in his crime thriller ' Gangs Of Wasseypur '. He later gave her the opportunity to work in his home production 'Luv Shuv Tey Chiken Khurrana' as well.

Anurag has given Huma a chance to work in his successful revenge dramas ' Gangs Of Wasseypur ' and ' Gangs Of Wasseypur 2 '. Both the films did well at the box office and got critical acclaims. Huma got famous with these two films in the b-town. So she said that she owes her success to her director friend Anurag Kashyap . Huma said that there are two people in her life to whom she can dedicate her success. They are Anurag Kashyap and N K Sharma who is a theatre director from Delhi. She thanks them deeply to act as her mentor, friend and guide who nurtured and groomed her in every way.

Huma expressed that, one groomed her while she was doing theatre and other helped her a lot with her debut film. She feels glad to have both of them as her friends. She said that if ' Gangs Of Wasseypur ' hadn't happened, she wouldn't be in movies. It is also reported that Anurag recommended Huma for Nikhil Advani 's film ' D-Day '. Along with this, Huma will be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj 's home production venture ' Dedh Ishqiya '.
