Salman Khan is said to have moved five steps ahead as an actor with his role in the upcoming film Tubelight . He will be seen playing an innocent yet determined character Laxman Singh Bisht, who is a mentally challenged person. Though Salman has earlier played a similar type of character in Kyon Ki, yet with this film, he is guaranteeing a performance never seen before.

The official handle of Salman Khan Films released the making video of Salman’s character in Tubelight . It starts with the dictionary meaning of this slang, followed by what director Kabir Khan and Salman himself think of it. Going by the making video, you will be bound to say that Salman has literally pushed the boundaries as an actor. Since he already owns a personality of an actor who doesn’t rehearse, but this particular role will change it all for him.

Film Tubelight is the story of Laxman Singh Bisht, who for the sake of bringing his brother back takes the world by the stand, despite his disabilities. It is set at the backdrop of Indo-Chinese war and also stars Sohail Khan, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, late actor Om Puri, Matin Rey Tangu and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub. The film is set to release on 23rd June 2017.
