After getting screened at multiple film festivals, the trailer of Anurag Kashyap ’s film ‘ Mukkabaaz ’ is finally here. This action-packed and gritty trailer shows some of the underdogs of the industry in some serious avatars. It narrates the tale of an Uttar Pradesh based boxer who gets involved in an ugly fight with a goon and later falls in love with the goon’s niece. The story follows what hardships the boxer comes across while fighting for his love. The way Vineet Singh has transformed himself from a lover into a street boxer who is being stopped from achieving his goals is laudable. Helmed by Kashyap, the movie is produced by Anand L Rai , and apart from Vineet, it also features, Zoya Hussain , Ravi Kishan , and Jimmy Shergill , who is seen in the negative character.

The movie’s first song, ‘Paintra’ was out a few days ago and is being received well by the masses. ‘ Mukkabaaz ’ seems to be a small budget film with multiple new faces. The movie is being presented by Eros International along with Colour Yellow Productions and Phantom Films. It has been scheduled to hit the silver screens on 12th January 2018, pitting it against Saif Ali Khan ’s ‘ Kaalakaandi ’.
