Gulzar, Vishal Bhardwaj refresh childhood memories with favourite song Jungle Jungle!

In early 90s, the much-loved cartoon series The Jungle Book used to be aired on Doordarshan. A song from this series, "Jungle jungle pata chala hai, chaddi pehenke phool khila hai" became very popular at that time and, it's still afresh in people's memories.

The Jungle Book is soon arriving with its Hindi version and it has recently unleashed its Hindi trailer. The Hindi version will have voice-overs by eminent stars like Priyanka Chopra, Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shefali Shah for different characters in this film. Gulzar and Vishal Bhardwaj have re-recorded this famous track and it will certainly hold nostalgic value to many folks.

This brand new version of the song has been crooned by Jia Wadkar, Abhirup Dass, Yuvika Chaudhary, Avishkar Yogesh Khot, Shaksham Karia, Vatsala Mishra, Rashi Salil Harmalkar and Oushnik Majumdar.

Helmed by Jon Favreau, The Jungle Book releases on April 8.
