Last seen in Aa Gaya Hero , veteran actor Govinda will shortly be seen in his next film titled Fry Day . The makers have announced the release date of the film. It will hit screens on 11th May. Fry Day has been directed by Abhishek Dogra who last directed the 2015 film Dolly Ki Doli , featuring Sonam Kapoor in the lead role. Govinda has been the number one actor in the 90s, especially when it comes to comedy films. Since Fry Day is also a comic caper, a lot of expectations are riding on the film.

Besides Govinda , the Abhishek Dogra directorial also stars Varun Sharma , Digangna Suryavanshi and Prabhleen Sandhu in pivotal roles. ' Fry Day ' has been written by Rajeev Kaul who has to his credit blockbuster films like Hadh Kar Di Aapne , Dulhe Raja and Ishq . It is being bankrolled by Sajid Qureshi .

On 11th May, the film will be locking horns with Meghna Gulzar 's film Raazi , starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal .
