    Govinda and Vinod Khanna to be casted in 'Hero' Remake

    Govinda and Vinod Khanna landed up in \'Hero\' Remake, playing the remarkable roles earlier played by Sanjeev Kumar and Shammi Kapoor.

    Earlier we had published the news of Nikhil Advani directing Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty starrer, ' Hero ' Remake. And now Govinda and Vinod Khanna too have joined the project, is making news.

    Govinda will be seen playing Athiya's brother, Damodar's role (earlier played by Sanjeev Kumar ) and Vinod Khanna will play Athiya's father, Shrikanth Mathur's role (earlier played by Shammi Kapoor ). Govinda and Vinod Khanna are indeed great actors but they need to justify there performances with the prior one, as it is obvious that the original will be compared with the remake.

    Sooraj and Athiya will be launched under Salman Khan 's banner, Salman Khan Production. The movie is said to be made according to the contemporary scenario, but will stick to its original one, romantic-musical theme.
