Well-known television and film actor, Gautam Rode, never ceases surprising his fans. The handsome actor, who was recently seen in Anant Mahadevan’s suspense thriller film, Aksar 2, opposite the gorgeous Zareen Khan, is now trying his hand at something different. Rode, who is one of the most popular actors in Indian television space, features in a short film called Bhagatya. One of his fans has leaked the trailer of the short movie on Twitter. We are sure that if you are Gautam Rode fan, you are going to love the actor in his all-new avatar in the short film.

If the trailer of the short film is anything to go by, the actor plays the character of a drug addict and a drug mafia. His character is named is after the great freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. A reformist named Lalaji tries to encourage and motivate him to get out of his addiction and start his life afresh. To know what happens next, you will have to watch the short film.

Talking about Gautam Rode’s television ventures, the actor has reportedly signed a new show which will be broadcast on Star Plus soon.
