' Gangs Of Wasseypur ' didn't do very good business yet it managed to make some profit which has inspired its makers to release its sequel/part 2 soon. But though there are rumours that it will be released on 10th August this year, its makers are still skeptical about its release date and do not know when to release it.

It is being said that its sequel (part 2) would be the story of Faisal Khan based on the real Faheem Khan who is still alive and is in Dhanbad prison. It is said that he still rules Wasseypur and Dhanbad mafia and he would create problem for the film and its makers.

In first part of ' Gangs Of Wasseypur ' the characters of Ramadir Singh was based on real man Surya Dev Singh and Sardar Khan's character was inspired by the real character Shafi Khan but they could not create any problem for the film because they had died long time back. But Faheem Khan is still alive so rumors are rife that he can create problem for the release of its 2nd part.
