When the word "virgin" from one of the dialogue was not enough, her is the objection on the title word "fanny" from the film. On Tuesday, a petition was filed in Delhi High Court seeking a ban on the upcoming film 'Finding Fanny'.
Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has also challenged Censor Board Film Certificate for granting U/A certificate to the film.
According to the dictionary, the word "fanny" means highly sexually explicit. This has made Nandini Tiwari and NGO Jai Jagriti Foundation file a case and appeal for the removal of the word from movie, its songs, posters and banners.
With less than 2 days left for its release, today the hearing will be announced by Chief Justice G. Rohini and Justice R.S Endlaw.
Directed by Homi Adajania, 'Finding Fanny' stars Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapur in the lead.
