After receiving rave reviews for his ' Gangs Of Wasseypur ' series the filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is now working on his next directorial venture titled as ' Bombay Velvet '. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as the male lead.

Suddenly, it came to the director's knowledge that a man named Varun Gupta is auditioning girls in small towns, stating that he is casting for Kashyap's forthcoming film ' Bombay Velvet '. Kashyap was not at all pleased with this information and he immediately posted a warning on his Twitter account also revealing that he has filed an FIR against the conman.

Anurag Kashyap 's tweet read: "Avoid a man called Varun Gupta who is auditioning girls apparently for Bombay Velvet in smaller towns. he is a con. An FIR has been lodged".

Anurag Kashyap has also posted the Facebook ID of the fraudulent man and has told his followers to be aware of this guy.
