The latest Hindi movie ' Joker ' that released on Friday has received negative reviews from the film critics. The film starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the central roles did not get positive response from the film critics unlike their previous film ' Rowdy Rathore '.

Shirish Kunder has performed multi-tasking for his film ' Joker '. He is the director, writer as well as the lyricist. But he has failed to impress the critics in almost each and every field. Illogical and predictable story having dragging narration are the film's major drawbacks. Akshay's performance and cinematography has been appreciated but Sonakshi had no solid role to play. She has almost been wasted by the director.

Certain film critics also suggested the viewers to carry a Disprin tablet to avoid headaches in the second half of the film.

' Joker ' based on the alien concept has received an average rating of 1.5 out of 5 from the film critics.
