    Farhan Akhtar to be Brand Ambassador of ESPN

    ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ is an upcoming Hindi film based on the life of the athlete Milkha Singh. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is directing the film and Farhan Akhtar is playing the role of Milkha Singh.

    ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ' is an upcoming Hindi film based on the life of the athlete Milkha Singh. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is directing the film and Farhan Akhtar is playing the role of Milkha Singh.

    Sources reveal that seeing Farhan's interest in sports, he has been offered to be the brand ambassador of sports channel ESPN and he has agreed to be the brand ambassador of it.

    According to the sources, "The channel was looking for a determined and focused personality to be their face and Farhan's dedication while working on the character of Milkha Singh worked in his favour, not to mention his career graph and versatility. When he was approached, Farhan was more than happy to be the face of this promo."

    It is said that Milkha Singh sold the right of his story for 1 rupee and whatever money they would earn would be spent for the benefit of the needy athletes.

    This film is expected to be released in 2013.
