Earlier the reports were fuming that Salman Khan had asked the production house of 'Bigg Boss' to hire someone else to host this controversial show from the next season onwards. But the latest news suggests that he has been replaced by Farah Khan in Bigg Boss Season 8 itself.

As per the sources, Bigg Boss 8 was slated to end by January 4, 2015, but now it has extended itself by a month after getting the approval from in-house contestants. This extension is not going well with the host Salman because of his subsequent work commitments and has refused to allot his dates to the show. Therefore, the makers hurried their hunt and approached Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor , but after even they refused, the 'Bigg Boss' team got Farah Khan on the board to host the show.

Known for her out-spoken persona, it will be interesting to watch Farah getting into Salman's shoes and taking the contestants on a roller-coaster ride with her powerful words.
