The gorgeous diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has finally given a nod to the upcoming film Fanney Khan . This film is a joint venture by T-series and KriAaj Entertainment which was announced last year and is seen taking shape now. The movie stars actor Anil Kapoor in the lead and now actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has also come on board. Both the actors have worked together in films like Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai (2000) and Taal (1999).

The film’s co-producer Prernaa Arora, who is the head of KriAaj Entertainment stated in a statement, “Working with Aishwarya is a dream come true, my greatest desire. She is not only a global icon but is hugely talented, immensely gorgeous and queen of all hearts. Its sheer honour & pleasure for us at KriArj. We are proud to be associated with a content driven studio like Bhushan Kumarji's TSeries who are making great films like Hindi Medium."

Ms. Arora also shared a picture with Aishwarya on Instagram and captioned it: "Enthusiastically awaiting to start shooting on our upcoming project with the Icon... the Gorgeous Aishwarya Rai!"

Co-producer Bhushan Kumar, head of T-Series also said, "We are committed to making concept-driven films and are happy to associate with Prerna Arora's KriArj Entertainment for a content driven film like Fanney Khan."

The film Fanney Khan will be helmed by Atul Manjrekar and is said to be shot in Mumbai majorly. According to sources, the film features Anil Kapoor in a role of a father and a struggling singer. Aishwarya also has a strong and a powerful role in the movie. Let us wait for the makers to unveil more details regarding this project.
