    Twinkle Khanna’s production film Padman stars her husband-actor Akshay Kumar, opposite two leading ladies – Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor . While, you think it might be a love triangle, here we bring you the exclusive details regarding the film.

    Exclusive details about Sonam Kapoor’s character in Padman

    Padman stars Akshay as the real-life character Arunachalam Muruganatham, Radhika plays his wife. While, Sonam’s character is a tabla player by profession.

    As per the sources, Sonam has been practicing table under the guidance of percussionist Mukta Madan Raste for last two months. She attends the tabla class once a week and while she is travelling, she makes sure to rehearse the lessons through music books.

    Film Padman is based on the inspirational story of Arunachalam Muruganatham, who invented low-cost sanitary napkins and brought awareness about unhygienic practices followed during menstruation in rural India.
