It is said that post child birth, actresses find it hard to make a comeback in Bollywood. But changing the norms, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has so far got the most successful comeback. After doing an ultra-glamorous role in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, she has signed her next film Fanney Khan and here we bring you some exclusive details about her character.

Talking to a leading daily, producer Prerna Arora said that Aishwarya is playing spunky, enchanting female protagonist. She will be seen in highly stylized retro look, opposite Anil Kapoor . Though she shares most of her scenes with the actor, yet they are not each other’s love interest. They both will be playing singers in the film. And if sources are to be believed, Aishwarya will be making her singing debut with this movie.

The film is in its pre-production process, the shoot will begin from the first week of August having Anil on board. Aishwarya will be joining him by the month end. It will wrap in start to finish schedule by October. Directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra , Fanney Khan is adapted from Academy Nominated film Everybody’s Famous! It will be jointly produced by KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
