Abbas-Mustan's latest film Race 2 has already created a sense of excitement among the audience. The promo has gained a whopping 2.5 million views since it has hit the online tube. Director Abbas is already positive about the film's success. He confirms it by stating, "The response has overwhelmed us. The film is in the same genre as the first one - an edge-of-the-seat thriller. We have made the sequel on a larger scale. Thrillers are our strength and we hope to succeed this time, too." Ramesh S. Taurani , the film's producer says, "The feedback that we have received on the trailer is tremendous. The movie will shock the audience and I'm sure it will ring in the New Year with a bang."

The film casts Saif Ali Khan , Deepika Padukone , John Abraham , Anil Kapoor , Jacqueline Fernandez and Amisha Patel . Music is by Tips and the film is bound to release on 25th January 2013.
