Emraan Hashmi to set up cancer detection camps in and around Mumbai

It is a known fact that Emraan Hashmi's son was diagnosed with cancer and due to timely detection and proper treatment, he has recovered fully and is in good health now. The illness of the actor's four-year-old has been a painful experience for him. Hence, now Emraan wants to do his bit to the society by making them aware of the deadly illness.

According to a leading daily, Emraan has planned to set up several cancer detection camps in and around Mumbai to spread awareness. The whole idea is to make people aware that cancer can be treated and people can recover from the disease if detected timely. Emraan in working on this initiative with the doctors who treated his son and, the actor also plans to rope up an NGO for the same. Hashmi has also been working on a book on the same topic and, he recently announced it on twitter.
