    Ekta Kapoor happy about Shyam Benegal's appreciation for Udta Punjab

    Ekta Kapoor is glad about Shyam Benegal's praise for her upcoming production venture Udta Punjab.

    Ekta Kapoor is one of the producers of upcoming movie Udta Punjab . She is happy about the praise showered by Shyam Benegal , the eminent filmmaker, who heads government-appointed censor board revamp committee. Benegal tagged the film as extremely well-made. He also complimented the makers for displaying the prevalent issue in Punjab. Udta Punjab revolves around the drug menace in Punjab.

    As per the report, Ekta said "Shyam sir (Shyam Benegal) (is) a very revered man. I am humbled by his comments regarding the film." Ekta did not comment on the censorship controversy around Udta Punjab. Talking about this, she stated "Beyond that I cannot comment anything. We have decided that there will be only (one) spokesperson for the film and that is Anurag (Kashyap)."
