Ajay Devgn, Tabu starrer 'Drishyam' will hit the screens today and the film is expected to attract huge crowd owing to its dhamakedaar trailer. The news update revealed that 'Drishyam' is a 2.39 minute thriller and has a longish interval, which is known as samosa-and-popcorn time scheme. It will give a chance to multiplexes' cafeteria to hike their business.

The director Nishikant Kamat and the producer Viacom 18 ensured to keep 2 hour 39 minute playing-time of 'Drishyam'. Multiplexes consider this long playing time as unfashionable as it goes beyond two hours. Kamat stated that "But I am fighting to retain every minute of my edited footage, because I feel every film has its own rhythm. We cannot hurry it. 'Drishyam' is not a routine thriller. It's a gripping story. But the pace is not of the normal thriller."
