Actor Diljit Dosanjh who impressed one and all with his performance in Anushka Sharma’s second production Phillauri , is all set to be seen in a war drama next. According to the reports, Diljit will be seen in a film based on the first world war and he will essay the lead characters in the movie. The young actor revealed his look from the film on twitter and wrote: “Film Based on #Worldwar1 Releasing Early 2018”

Diljit is sporting a full bearded look with a turban. The actor essays the role of an Indian army officer. As per the report, the movie as stars Punjabi singer Sunanda who play the role of Diljit’s love interest in the movie. She will make her debut as an actor via this war drama. During the first world war, Indian army played a crucial role with large number of divisions and independent brigades to the European, Mediterranean and the Middle East theatres of war.

As the actor updated, the film will release in 2018. Apart from this, Diljit has been roped to in by Shaad Ali for his biographical drama starring Taapsee Pannu .
